Dumlupınar Science and Art Center, pre-school, primary, secondary and special talented students in high school (pictures, music, and general mental ability) is an independent special education opened to develop in a way that does not disrupt students education in formal educational institutions and make students aware of their individual ability and capacity to ensure utilization at the highest level. The school continues education with students aged between 9 -18 in the range of 300 registered students that are outstanding and gifted students. There are about 400 students and 40 teachers in the school. Students are from age 7 to 19 with different needs and social background and they come from different social communities and some of them live with their grandparents while their parents work abroad (Ireland, England, Norway). All pupils speak Latvian and in class 1 they start to learn English as the first foreign language. All students attend to school from 8.10 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Also the school has different after-school activities like school choir, pop – groups, art group, drama and individual vocal practice for everyone who is interested in music and art. |

Colegiul Auto Traian Vuia is a technical secondary school in Târgu Jiu, Romania. It has 90 teachers and about 1600 students who study technical discipline, like Environment Protection, Mechanics, Textile Industry and Joinery. The students are constantly involved in many activities outside classes, such as local, national competitions or intercultural projects such as “Spring day”, "Kangourou", "Futurenergia" etcetera. The school has had two Comenius project, one about Maths and Science, another one was Linguistic so far. Bulgarian and to improve their English and the school also has another Erasmus + Project that wants to insure that many of our students will choose an artistic related career. |
